It was a bumpy but fun ride on Lake Charlevoix, Saturday, July 12, during the 5th annual BoyneThunder Poker Run that began on July 11. One of the boaters who participated was Mike Sinacola and his family who hail from Dallas, Texas. Sinacola buffed up his high-performance boat after the run. This is the Sinacolas fourth year in BoyneThunder. The boats traveled 120-miles from Boyne City to Charlevoix then on to Beaver Island, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor and ended back in Boyne City where a dinner was held in Veterans Memorial Park. Forty boats were in this yearÕs event that benefits the local Camp Quality, a program that helps children living with cancer. Boyne CityÕs Main Street Program hosted the event. Ê
