Kevin LaVanway started the second game, going four innings and striking out six. In the fifth inning, he gave way to David Marr, who was the pitcher of record in the 14-11 win. Marr pitched the last two innings, striking out six and allowing one hit. He also had three hits, including a home run, to help his cause. He finished with three RBI for the Devils. Gettel, Alex Bajko and Scott Hansen had two hits in the second game, which improved the Devils' record to 14-10 overall this season. |
