The Red Devils had five hits and scored five runs in the third inning of game one, giving Matt Pater a win on the mound, 8-2. He allowed seven hits over six innings and had two RBI.

Ryan Gettel pitched the second game for East Jordan and allowed just one hit in a 6-4 win. He had 10 strikeouts and allowed four walks with no earned runs.

Scott Hansen had two hits and scored twice for the Devils, Alex Bajko also had two hits.

"Offensively, the top of the order did a great job of setting the table for us," East Jordan coach Pete Inman said. "Ryan looked sharp on the hill and had the opponentŐs hitters off-balance all game long."

The two wins put them over the .500 mark at 6-4.
