Charlotte was born on February 3, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Floyd and Gladys Hobson. She moved from Chicago to the Boyne City area as a teenager. She married Melvin Miner who preceded her in death in 1963. Charlotte enjoyed crafts, cross-word puzzles and watching her soaps.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Rose Miner of Muskegon, Ray (Joann) Miner of Boyne City and Charlotte Marie (Fred) Simpson of East Jordan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Giem of Boyne City and June Bellant of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; and two sons, Mike and Dave Miner.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5, at Stackus Funeral Home, with visitation being before the service. Pastor David Behling will be served as celebrant.

Burial will take place at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
