LAKE BUENA VISTA - The Boyne City High School marching band members strutted their stuff down Main Street, U.S.A. at the Walt Disney World Resort on Jan. 29. The band traveled to take part in Disney Magic Music Days and perform for an international audience of park guests. The group performed prior to the "Disney Dreams Come True" parade.

The thousands that lined the streets of the Magic Kingdom, waiting for the parade, were surprised to hear the announcement of the band. Several guests had lined up for the parade up to an hour in advance. The Boyne City High School Jazz Band became stars of their own Disney show when they took the stage at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, located inside of Magic Kingdom.

High school and middle school marching bands have performed at the resort since its opening. The program has expanded since that time, and performance opportunities are open to bands, orchestras, choirs, drill teams, dance ensembles and other performing groups.

Groups come from throughout the world to perform, learn and compete at all four theme parks.
