Alice Gregson



Alice (Stanek) Gregson, formerly of Davison, and daughter of Albert and Clara (Divis) Stanek, went home to the Lord on Jan. 18, 2007. Alice was born in East Jordan in 1926.

She graduated from the Hurley Hospital School of Nursing in 1947 and was a former president of the Michigan Industrial Nurses Association. Alice retired from AC Spark Plugs as compensation adjuster in 1981. Alice enjoyed painting, golfing, traveling and attending to her flowers.

She is survived by: husband Bruce Gregson of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; son, Winchester Eldred of Marietta, GA; daughter Cathy Turner of Ypsilanti; daughter Jane Brinkley of Lawrenceville, GA; grandson Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Joelbair Turner and wife Vanessa of Groton, Conn.; grandson Jeffrey Turner of Ypsilanti; sisters Frances Vert, Emelia Perket, Helen Anzell and brother Edward Stanek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her sisters, Clara Jaroneski, Bertha Stanek and brothers, Albert and Clement Stanek.

Cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association
