Martha was born on Nov. 29, 1908, in Boyne Falls, the daughter of Alexander and Paulina (Turoski) Organek.

Martha is survived by her two sons, Leonard (Jean) Zakrzewski and Larry (Sonya) Saksewski; grandchildren, Sherry (Dennis) Carson, Debra (David) Carson; great-grandchildren, Joshua (Shelly) Carson, Sean (Denise) Carson and Ashley (David) Wiskers; great-great grandchildren, Keegan, Patrick, Jacek and Daniel.

Burial has taken place at Boyne Valley Township Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the Charlevoix County Humane Society.
