BOYNE CITY -City commissioners voted to approve two contracts with the engineering firm of C2AE. One contract is for $15,700 for C2AE to develop a sanitary sewer master plan. The other contract is for $3,500 for a street rating and routine maintenance recommendations.

BOYNE CITY - With the recent donation of $5,000 from Stanley Cup Champion Henrik Zetterberg putting a huge smile on the faces of the children at Camp Quality in Boyne City, the organization has learned of another big contribution.

CHARLEVOIX - Sheriff George T. Lasater and Liaison Officer William D. Schneider of the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office announced a new program for the disposal of prescription drugs. According to the Sheriff's Office, this has become a very serious problem on several levels and this initiative is a pro-active approach to the dealing with the issues.
